Welcome to Aidan's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about Aidan's Leukemia Journey.
Aidan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukema (Pre-B cell, standard risk) on December 30th, 2003. He is an early responder (in remission within 7 days of starting chemo) and treatment has gone very well. He will continue with treatments for the next three years to keep the Leukemia from relapsing. We have a long road ahead of us but we are hopeful that he will be fine. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Wow! It has been a long time since I have posted here. I think the good thing about that is that it seems like his illness is one of the least of our worries. He goes to the clinic about once per month and is doing better each time with the access. The chemo is extremely managable and we are coming up on our one year diagnosis anniversary. Who would have guessed that things could be so normal again?! We are doing great besides passing a stupid cold back and forth to eachother! Gotta run. love, Christine
