The only thing worse than being diagnosed with cancer,
is watching someone you love going through it.

KISS YOUR CHILDREN EVERY DAY AND TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM. TODAY IS GONE, AND TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME!

Welcome to Sammy's website.
This website has been created
for our family and friends.
So you can experience this
journey with us.

Samantha Lou Nichols
was born on November 1, 2001

On March 8, 2004 our precious daughter
was diagnosed with
Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Christmas and New Year's was awesome here at the Nichols house. The kids, plus Rick and I both pretty much received everything we wanted or could desire! We spent the weekend before Christmas at Lake Gaston with my aunt and uncle. Which is always a treat! The kids love going there. We have tons of pictures of Christmas, and other events on my myspace website. Just log on there and check them out!
New Year's was celebrated at home with just us 5! We played Guitar Hero III for hours on end....yes we are addicted! And a bunch of board games, watched movies, and snacked on lots of yummy food....then went to bed after the ball dropped!

All three kids are officially back in school. Sammy and Ricky went back today! I am sure they will be exhausted when they get home. We haven't been on much of a schedule. But we are getting back on track slowly.....

Sammy and I went on a Girl Scout field trip with her Brownie troop this past Friday. I honestly am glad I took off of work and went along. It was an amazing time....go to myspace and check out the pictures! Sammy loved every minute of it!!! She earned two more try-it badges! Brownies has really been a high-light in her life lately. They will be going ice skating soon, going to Richmond to the Girl Scout International Fair, camping, a lock-In...and so much more! Here is a couple pictures....

Everyone is doing GREAT! Sammy has to go in for routine blood work this week, and then has two months before the next one!!! I finally hit rock bottom and have started losing weight. I joined weight watchers, and exercising! I have lost like 7 pounds since the first of the year! This is the longest I have stuck with it....so I think it will last and I will reach my goal by my birthday!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Other then that....just normal every day stuff.....just busy with the kids, and working, and everything else!

Keep Sammy in your thoughts and prayers, we need her success to continue.......

Hugs, The Nichols Family
