Hannah and Brooklyn (7 months)BR>
Journal
Sunday, October 22, 2006 12:26 PM MST Well, sorry it's been so long since I've written in here. It has now been 2 years since we lost Abbey on October 14, 2004. It's hard to believe it's been so long since we've seen our precious little lovebug. We miss her like crazy, but we know that she is always watching over us, and her new little sisters. Also, Abbey's birthday is coming up on October 25. She would have been 6 years old and in kindergarten.
Hannah and Brooklyn are growing like crazy. They are now 8 months old, and are developmentally caught up to their chronological age. As of last Sunday, they were not crawling, just rolling, scooting and doing the Army crawl. This week, they both learned to crawl and are now all over the place. The only time I dare turn my head and walk out of the room now without worrying is when they are in their Exersaucers. They are getting so big. Last week when I got on the scale with each of them, Brooklyn weighed about 15 pounds, and Hannah weighed about 18 1/2 pounds. Hannah now weighs more than Abbey did at 3 1/2 years old, and they both weigh a lot more than Abbey did at 1 year old. They are just so much fun.
Both of them are eating solids now (well, I guess if you call pureed veggies and fruits solid). They both love squash, sweet potatoes, pears, applesauce, cereal and peaches. Both of them gag when they try green beans or peas.
We have so much fun with our girls. They just love to play with toys and crawl around and explore. They both love Baby Einstein. Hannah and Brooklyn pretty much have everyone wrapped around their little fingers. What a blessing it is to have twins. We are so blessed. We love them so much. Yes, our hands are full, but our hearts are fuller.
Thank you for continuing to check up on us. We appreciate all your thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this time of year. We love our Angel Abbey.
Love, Brandi (wife to Greg, mommy to Angel Abbey, and Hannah and Brooklyn)
