Happy Father's Day!

Dan has been feeling much better these last two weeks. His glucometer readings have stabilized due to our family doctor taking control of that problem. He still tests two times per day and takes large doses of long acting insulin. It is making his eyesight return to where it was and he has fewer complaints about the neuropathy in his feet and hands.

We go back to Indianapolis on June 24. It will be interesting to see where they are going from here. Last visit, the theme was "wait and keep at what we are doing". I am hoping that they can leave things be for a little while longer since Dan is just feeling better these last two weeks. The original plan was to keep on the high dose of prednisone until late in the year.

I have another special prayer request...or two...

My sister Paula is going through testing for a kidney transplant and she will need a donor.

And also prayers for a Dad and daughter going through the surgery later this month. The daughter is giving her Dad a kidney.
