Carly Jane Thorne

Carly Jane Thorne was born into this world on the 27th July 1982 and received her Angel Wings 20th April 1995.
Carly was a normal 12 year old, she loved school, she was good at most subjects, but writing was her best, she loved creating stories and poems. She got DUX of her primary school
She was to attend La Salle College with her older sister Deb, but she never got there, she got as far as her interview and had been accepted. When she left school she wanted to become a writer or a nurse.
Carly had many friends, but one very special, Natalie, they spent many hours together, doing things normal 12 year olds do.
Carly was very independent in her sense of fashion, she didn't like the norm, she wore the Indian type clothes, the long flowing dresses, with the little crochet scull caps, it didnt bother her, that she was the only one in her group of friends who dressed differently.
She liked lots of different musical artists, but her favorite was the Lion King, On 3B, we would lay on her bed have an earpiece each and sing along to "Can you feel the love tonight" we got moaned at on many occasions, to not give up our day jobs.
When Carly died, "Can you feel the love tonight was playing. As much as I love that song as it is a part of Carly, it still brings tears to my eyes and the hugest lump in my throat.
The last few words Carly spoke to me were Mum when I am in heaven, I will always take care of Deb, David Natalie & Kristen, I said what about me, she said, Mum you dont need me to take care of you, you take care of everyone else, she had a lot of insight, was so caring.
I miss her so much.
Thank you sweet Angel for being part of our lives.
