Hi my mommy has created this page for me and my brother Evan. I am Justin and I am six years old, my mom started to worry about me because I got frequent nose bleeds and I bruised really easily. My doctors ran a bunch of tests, by taking alot of blood, ouch that hurt but I was strong. The doctors than told me I have type 1 Vonwillebrands and I would need to be more careful in life, wear a medic alert bracelet and if I got hurt I would need to take special medicine called DDAVP. My brother had to get tested to and he has type 1 vonWillebrands too. People with this disease like me do not have enough of the VonWillebrand factor and so they bleed longer than most people. I have alot of great support but I would very much like to talk to others with this disease, I also hope family and friends can keep in touch with me on this website
