Thomas Peterpaul

Welcome to Thomas Peterpaul's Web Page. It has been provided to allow everyone to show their love and support for Thomas, Frank, Barbara, Robert, Julia and William. Having been diagnosed with leukemia in Feb. 2003, Thomas has fought many battles during his cancer treatments - appendicitis, blindness in one eye, chemotherapy side effects, confined to a wheelchair his last 5 months, bacterial & fungus infections to name a few. Unfortunately, his disease relapsed in Feb. 2004 and he was forced to endure another round of intensive chemotherapy and radiation. He underwent a stem cell transplant which took place on Friday, 7/23. He beat his leukemia and survived his transplant, but died on 9/11/04 from complications caused by a virus. He experienced so many obstacles during his battle but faced each and every one with a positive spirit. He was truly a courageous young man and is an inspiration to all. Please add your well wishes and prayers to his guestbook. Please visit The Thomas Peterpaul Foundation website at:

Hi Thomas,
It's been such a long time since we updated your Caringbridge journal but we think of you every minute of every day. Words cannot describe how much everyone misses you but we all find peace in knowing that you continue to shine upon us everyday.
We love you Thomas. xoxo

-----------------------------------------------------------
There are many times during our lives where we wish we could make a difference in this world, and through Thomas, we became aware of the following acts of kindness that people can do:
1. GIVE BLOOD - Blood transfusions are imperative to the survival of a cancer patient. To see how important blood donations are go to the following link:
http://www.givelife2.org/aboutblood/bloodusage.asp

2. If you have not done so already, GET REGISTERED on the National Marrow Donor Program Registry. http://www.marrow.org/HELP/join_the_registry.html

3. Last, donate to The Thomas Peterpaul Foundation. It's charter is to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and make donations directly to needy patients and their families. Please visit The Thomas Peterpaul Foundation site:

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Thank you.

WE URGE EVERYONE TO KEEP THOMAS' SPIRIT ALIVE AND DONATE TO:

The Thomas Peterpaul Foundation
PO Box 129
Chatham, NJ 07928

or
www.thomaspeterpaul.org

The Peterpaul family has set up this foundation in Thomas' honor. It is a non-profit 501(C) organization devoted to raising funds for pediatric cancer research and patient & family services. All donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you.

We are extremely grateful to all those who have showered Thomas and our family with their with prayers and support. He was truly extraordinary and will forever be missed.

Although he only lived 11 years, he accomplished more than most people accomplish in a lifetime - uniting people from around the world in prayer. Our son was called a "hero" and "inspiration" by so many people that did not even know him. That is how Thomas will be remembered.

GOD BLESS
