Welcome to our son, Christopher's webpage, Our son Christopher was our Handsome, charismatic, ten year old son. He was diagnosed in june 2004 with adrenaleukodystrophy. This is the day our world fell apart. However we are fortunate enough to have the support of wonderfull family and friends. Christophers illness touched the heart of many people who have extended their genirosity to myself, Andy, and Ashleigh during this difficult time. Without this kindness our journey would have been Impossible.
Through all cHRISTOPHERS ILLNESS HIS STRENGTH AND COURAGE NEVER CEASED TO AMAZE US . And each day this strength and courage makes us feel very humble.
As a family we take one day at a time, one step at a time and together, united in hope and love we TRY TO FIND SOME KIND OF LIFE AND A REASON TO KEEP GOING.
I hope you can read Christopher's story and learn somthing from it .Having the fortune to be chossen as his family to have his love in our life has changed us so much and that is what keeps us going makes us get up each day with his love in our heart and his guiding spirit walking with us each day until he takes our hand and leads us home to him.

This is a short poem that Christopher's granny sheekey wrote for him.

what i would give if able to say "Come on Christopher come out to play "
His body is broken our hearts are too .

his time is indoors with surroundings new. the doctors and nurses work hard to repair . we watch feeling helpless with love and despair ;

There is a long road ahead we know this is so united with hope this journey we go .
and i know one day soon he will come home and i will say "Come on Christopher lets go out and play "

The significance of feathers over the last few months have helped us to cope. Below is a verse we have chosen to share with you

Hi everyone as you know today is Christophers 14th Birthday , like any other day we think of him and miss him every minute on his birthdays we wonder wha would he have been like its so hard to not see him grow up and you wonder what would he have liked to do how big would he be .We had pizza in his honour tonight for his birthday as that is his favourite food and my mum called from Scotland to say his little graveside was loely all the family have been puting flowers up and we are very gratefull for that and that they keep it nice for us . Christopher sent us a special birthday present today we finally got confirmation that we are geting our house so we get the keys on thurs and move next week .We have ourown pool and we ae going to make a special Christopher garden beside it somewhere that we can have just for him and we felt beside the pool was appropriate because he loved so much to swim .
Ash is doing ok she is doing her application for uni now andhopefully will start early next year and not much change with me and andy still working hard well ill go now just wanted to check in leave a message if you ever check on us xxxxx
