Ashley Lauren Snyder

Ashley's web page has been created to honor Ashley, and to allow friends and family to be up to date with Ashley's Wilms cancer treatments, checkups, tests, and personal life. Ashley was diagnosed in May, 2004, Wilms Stage II, Favorable Histology, with a large tumor on her left kidney. Surgery to remove the kidney and tumor showed that the cancer was contained in the tumor and hadn't spread. Ashley underwent chemo treatments until October. Scans clear, and in remission. On her first follow up appointment in January, 2005, Ashley had a recurrence of the Wilms on her lung in the form of a 2 cm. spot. She will be undergoing intense chemotherapy for at least the next 6 months. Please pray for our precious little angel.

Hello, from Melissa and Ashley.
Things are going very well. Ashley had clear scans in July, her bloodwork was also normal. We will go back to Seattle this next July. Ashley will also visit a survivor's clinic while in Seattle. Ashley will learn about how her treatments effect the rest of her life. We are positive, and hope and pray for Ashley to have a long healthy life. We have 7 more years to go, Ashley's doctors will watch her a little longer, because of nephrogenic rests that were on her original tumor. Please keep our family in your prayers. Thank you!! Melissa,(mom), and Ashley.
